She has written numerous books on acting and performance, including The Complete Stanislavsky Toolkit, Acting: The Basics, With the Rogue’s Company, and Shakespeare & Company: When Action Is Eloquence. Her writing also includes dramatic works such as the one-person play Tilly No-Body: Catastrophes of Love.
