Lina Bengtsdotter (born 1977) is a Swedish crime and suspense novelist who grew up in Gullspång, the setting for her Charlie Lager series. She began her literary career writing short stories for Nordic newspapers, then made her full-length debut with For the Missing (Annabelle), which won Sweden’s 2017 Crime Debut of the Year award. Her novels are known for dark, atmospheric plots and psychologically complex characters.
