He joined Vanity Fair as a contributing editor in 2003, where his investigative and cultural reporting has covered crime, business, celebrities, and Hollywood. He has written and collaborated on numerous nonfiction books, including The Man in the Rockefeller Suit, Wildflower, and Leave the Gun, Take the Cannoli.
