Naima Brown is an Australian-based novelist, nonfiction writer, producer and filmmaker. She spent more than a decade working in news, current affairs and documentary, including in Yemen and Afghanistan, before turning to fiction; her reality-TV experience inspired her debut novel, The Shot. She is also the author of Mother Tongue, co-author of How to Age Against the Machine, and founder of Duststar Productions, which produces Audible Original series.
