Simon Mason is a British author who began writing adult literary fiction before turning to children’s and young-adult fiction, including The Quigleys, Moon Pie, and the Garvie Smith mysteries. He later returned to adult fiction with the Oxford-set DI Wilkins crime series and the Finder Mysteries. Alongside writing, he has had a long publishing career, including serving as managing director of David Fickling Books, and he lives in Oxford.
