Roger Fisher (1922–2012) was a Harvard Law School professor, co-founder of the Harvard Negotiation Project, and a pioneering writer on negotiation, conflict resolution, and international law. He co-authored the bestselling Getting to Yes (1981), as well as Getting Together, Beyond Machiavelli, Getting Ready to Negotiate, Getting It Done, and Beyond Reason. His practical, interest-based approach to negotiation influenced business, law, diplomacy, and dispute resolution worldwide.
