Ed Yong is a British-American science journalist and author known for accessible, deeply reported writing about biology, health, microbes, animal senses, and the natural world. He was a staff writer at The Atlantic from 2015 to 2023, and his work has appeared in publications including National Geographic, The New Yorker, Wired, Nature, and The New York Times. He is the author of the bestselling science books I Contain Multitudes and An Immense World, and won the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Journalism for his COVID-19 coverage.
