Marsali Taylor is a Shetland-based writer and retired English and Drama teacher who spent her teaching career at Aith Junior High School. Her first published work was a series of plays written for her pupils, followed by Shetland-set contemporary crime novels featuring liveaboard sailor and sleuth Cass Lynch. She also writes historical nonfiction, short stories, drama, and articles and reviews for sailing publications.
