Mai Corland is a Korean American author and attorney who began her writing career in children’s and young adult literature, publishing books such as The Jasmine Project and Everyone Hates Kelsey Miller under the name Meredith Ireland. She transitioned to adult fiction with her romantasy debut Five Broken Blades, followed by Four Ruined Realms and Three Shattered Souls. Her subsequent novel Verity Guild blends fantasy romance with a locked-room murder mystery and political intrigue.
