Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter and author whose literary work includes the experimental prose work Tarantula, the memoir Chronicles: Volume One, and The Philosophy of Modern Song, a collection of reflections on songs and songwriting. His writing is noted for verbal dexterity, metaphor, rhyme, and cultural commentary, and his literary contribution was recognized with the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature.
