Arlan Keith Andrews Sr. is an American science-fiction author and engineer who began publishing fiction in the early 1970s. He has written hundreds of short stories, essays, articles, and books, with work appearing in venues including Analog and Asimov’s; his novella “Flow” was Hugo-nominated and won the Jovian Award. He also founded SIGMA, a science-fiction think tank that applies writers’ futurist perspectives to government and technological issues.
