Sandra Neil Wallace is an award-winning children’s author whose books focus on trailblazing people and overlooked moments in American history. A former journalist, ESPN reporter, and pioneering NHL television host, she began writing for young readers with the 2010 novel Little Joe and has since produced acclaimed fiction and nonfiction, including picture-book biographies and civil-rights history. She frequently collaborates with her husband, author Rich Wallace.
