SenLinYu is an American author who began writing fan fiction in 2018, first publishing online works including the widely read Harry Potter fan fiction Manacled. Their collected online writing has received more than twenty million individual downloads and translations into twenty-three languages. Alchemised, a reworking of Manacled into an original dark fantasy novel, is their traditionally published debut.
