John J. Rust is a New Jersey native and author of more than a dozen books and numerous short stories. After publishing short fiction in magazines and anthologies, he moved into novels spanning science fiction, action-adventure, cryptozoology, military fiction, historical fiction, and sports history. He also works as a radio sports director and play-by-play announcer in Arizona, a background that informs some of his writing.
