Oliver Law began writing after an unpublished LitRPG project inspired by Path of Exile sparked a desire to write professionally. After eight years practicing law, he returned to writing full time, creating lighthearted fantasy novels influenced by web fiction, particularly xianxia and LitRPG. His work is also shaped by authors such as Er Gen, Mars Gravity, and Glen Cook.
