Steve Earle is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and writer whose literary work includes the novel I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive and the short-story collection Dog House Roses. He also wrote the music for the documentary-style stage work Coal Country, inspired by the Upper Big Branch mine disaster, and has narrated audiobook editions of his work.
