Christina Soontornvat is a New York Times bestselling author of books for children of all ages, including picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, middle-grade fiction, and nonfiction. She is the author of the Diary of an Ice Princess series, The Tryout, A Wish in the Dark, The Last Mapmaker, and All Thirteen, and has received three Newbery Honors. She began writing professionally at age 30 after working in science education and museum programming.
