6 books, mostly east asian literature, for Classics Press and Audible Studios

Yamamoto Tsunetomo (1659–1719), also known as Yamamoto Jōchō, was a Saga-domain samurai who later became a Buddhist priest and hermit. Between 1709 and 1716, he dictated his reflections on loyalty, discipline, death, and samurai conduct to his disciple Tashiro Tsuramoto, who compiled them into Hagakure. The work became one of Japan’s best-known texts on bushidō and warrior ethics.
