Claude M. Bristol (1891–1951) was an American journalist, newspaper reporter and editor who served with the U.S. Army during World War I and worked on Stars and Stripes. Drawing on his studies of psychology, religion, metaphysics and New Thought, he became a lecturer and writer on mental suggestion, belief and success. His best-known books are TNT: It Rocks the Earth (1932) and The Magic of Believing (1948), a motivational self-help classic.
