Laura Antoniou is an American novelist, editor, and pioneer of contemporary erotic fiction. She is best known for The Marketplace series of BDSM-themed novels, originally published under the pen name Sara Adamson, and has also edited influential lesbian-erotica anthologies such as Leatherwomen. Since the 1990s, her fiction, essays, and short stories have appeared widely in anthologies, earning multiple writing and lifetime-achievement awards.
