Jen Williams is a British novelist and short-story writer from London, now living in Bristol. She began publishing with The Copper Cat trilogy, followed by the award-winning Winnowing Flame trilogy, including The Ninth Rain and The Bitter Twins, both winners of the British Fantasy Award for Best Fantasy Novel. She has also written crime and supernatural thrillers, including Dog Rose Dirt, A Dark and Secret Place, Games for Dead Girls, and The Hungry Dark, as well as the YA fantasy Sleepless duology.
