She has coauthored books on contracts and legal pedagogy, published more than 40 scholarly articles on criminal justice, race and gender justice, and legal education, and coauthored Ending Isolation: The Case Against Solitary Confinement with Christopher Blackwell. She also co-founded a writers’ development program supporting incarcerated authors.
