Dorsey Armstrong is a professor of English and medieval literature at Purdue University whose writing and teaching focus on Arthurian literature, medieval romance, Old English, gender, and medieval history. She is the author of scholarly books and modern translations of Sir Thomas Malory, and has written and presented numerous lecture series for The Great Courses on topics including the Middle Ages, the Black Death, King Arthur, the Knights Templar, and critical writing. She has also served as editor-in-chief of the academic journal Arthuriana.
