Coe Booth is an American writer born and raised in the Bronx. After earning an MFA in creative writing from The New School, she published her debut young-adult novel, Tyrell, in 2006. Her subsequent work includes young-adult and middle-grade fiction such as Kendra, Bronxwood, Kinda Like Brothers, and Caprice; Tyrell won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Young Adult Literature.
