Brian Evenson is an American novelist, short-story writer, translator, and professor whose career spans literary and popular fiction. He has published more than a dozen books, including acclaimed horror, speculative, and experimental fiction collections and novels, and has received the World Fantasy Award, Shirley Jackson Award, O. Henry Prizes, an NEA fellowship, and a Guggenheim Award. He teaches in the Critical Studies Program at California Institute of the Arts.
