Brian Keene is an award-winning American author of more than fifty books and three hundred short stories, writing primarily horror, crime, fantasy, and nonfiction. His 2003 novel The Rising helped popularize modern zombie fiction, and he has also written for properties including Doctor Who, Thor, Aliens, Hellboy, The X-Files, and Masters of the Universe. His work has been adapted for film, and he is a recipient of the World Horror Grandmaster Award and multiple Bram Stoker Awards.
