Lou Anders is an American author, editor, journalist, and tabletop roleplaying game designer. He is best known for the middle-grade Thrones & Bones fantasy trilogy—Frostborn, Nightborn, and Skyborn—as well as Once Upon a Unicorn and Star Wars tie-in novels. He has also published more than 500 articles and stories about science fiction and fantasy, won a Hugo Award for editing and a Chesley Award for art direction, and was a Thurber House Writer-in-Residence.
