Andy Smillie is a Scottish-born author who began working at Games Workshop in Nottingham, writing articles for science-fiction, fantasy, and hobby magazines before publishing his debut fiction, “Mountain Eater,” in 2011. He writes primarily for Black Library, and is best known for his visceral Warhammer 40,000 stories, including the Flesh Tearers novellas “Flesh of Cretacia” and “Sons of Wrath,” the novel “Trial by Blood,” and numerous audio dramas.
