Lucas Bale is a British science-fiction author whose writing career began with The Heretic, the first novel in his Beyond the Wall series. He writes intense, thought-provoking science-fiction thrillers and has also contributed to anthologies and co-written works, including the Nomad series with Matthew Mather. Before becoming a writer, Bale worked as a criminal lawyer for 15 years.
